Halloween has passed and we are now in the later days of fall with more than a month till Christmas. As many of us know, now is prime time for people to get sick, thanks to the stresses of the holidays, combined with poor sleeping habits.
Every year, the holidays get more and more hectic; we rush to get to work, to eat, to get home, to take the kids to school, help with their homework, then we rush to bed. Then we worry: Do we have enough to pay the bills? How can we afford to buy all the gifts? How can we make enough time to attend all the family events? While we are going through all of that and much more we don't eat right because we are running everywhere. The next thing you know…WE GET SICK!
Now that it is summer and everyone is outside enjoying the weather, it becomes more and more important to stay hydrated.
The desire to get in shape begins with a very peculiar emotion: the feeling of being disturbed. You may feel disturbed about the way you look, disturbed about the way you feel or disturbed because the doctor said you need to get healthy now.
For me, it was that I looked, felt, and did not think I was healthy enough to reach my goals.
