The holidays are such a wonderful time to be together with friends and families in celebration, gratitude, and the spirit of giving.  I love the smells that fill the air with the cool scent of the fir tree and the home baked goodies in the oven, along with the warm glow of the candles and the fire in the hearth.

This is also a great time for creative projects that families can do together.  One super-easy and really fun activity that you can try out this holiday season is making homemade salt dough ornaments.  I have fond memories of making these in the kitchen with my mom and my sister when I was a child.  So create your own memories and make some ornaments with your family today!  Check out the recipe and baking instructions found on Spoonful.com.

These ornaments make awesome gifts during the holidays!  All you need are a couple of ingredients that can already be found in the pantry, along with some cookie cutters, acryllic paint, glitter, and ribbon. You could even try using other things to decorate the ornaments.  Be creative!

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!  *<:-)
