Do It Yourself (DIY) Waterslide
We all know summer is hot. But what if you don’t have a fun way to cool off?
Summertime is a popular season to enjoy pools, lakes, springs and the beach. Summer is my favorite time to spend swimming with friends and family! Water games like swim-tag and Marco Polo are always popular when we get together for a pool party. One can have fun swimming, but also stay safe at the same time.
The holidays are such a wonderful time to be together with friends and families in celebration, gratitude, and the spirit of giving. I love the smells that fill the air with the cool scent of the fir tree and the home baked goodies in the oven, along with the warm glow of the candles and the fire in the hearth.
Thanksgiving is one of the most festive times of the year when we get together with friends and family to remember and celebrate those things for which we are truly grateful; however, it’s the history behind it that makes this such an important holiday for Americans.
Have you ever wondered why the autumn is also called “fall”? Well, a long time ago it was originally called fall because as the weather started getting colder in the 2 months or so before winter, whenever a gust of wind would blow the leaves, causing them to fall off.
Fall is probably one of the most festive and exciting times of the year! There is so much going on, from the leaves changing color to all the fun activities going on around Halloween.
One of my favorite things to do during fall is going to the pumpkin patch. There is so much to do there: corn mazes, petting zoos, and picking your own pumpkin that you can carve designs into. Then when you’re done you can make pumpkin pie and roasted pumpkin seeds, which are always delicious.
Happy Fall!
